  1. Wow! What a difference a little decluttering makes! 🙂

  2. Fantastic! I love the idea of taking a space and redesigning it with items already in the home. It’s so exciting to see it cleaned up with a new look.

  3. Super impressive! Also, how do men live like that?!

  4. Wow, you are a wonder woman of organizing. I would have wandered around overwhelmed and then thrown everything out. You did an amazing job and displaying the magnets as wall art was a beautiful touch.

  5. You need your own tv show on TLC or whatever the channel is. Very cool! I remember seeing this makeover when you did a few years ago:)

  6. I love how you made a small space look uncluttered with your choice in colors

  7. Great Job organizing! That’s such a tiny space. What a challenge.

  8. Very nicely done! Enjoy the new space!

I love makeovers! ❤ Those curtains in the living area are great and I really like the white couch! Well done. 🙂
Hey, btw, I'd love if you came to the weekend link-swapping party this week:

  10. Thank you! Redesigning it was also a necessity as neither of us had much money to spend on new things at the time. Besides, with all excess furniture he had in there, we HAD to make it work! ~M.

  11. What a great compliment, Kanani! Thank you!! Yes, had to repost this oldie, but I still think it’s a goodie even if we don’t live here anymore. ~M.

  12. Thank you! Simplicity is the best way to toning down a small space, I think.

  13. You’re telling me! I still remember that apartment as being too cluttered even after this makeover. It was THAT small! I did the best I could, though, and somehow we managed to live in harmony together.

  14. Thank you so much!

  15. Thank you!! Thank goodness Mr. M had a white slipcover for that sofa. No telling how this space would have turned out if I had to keep the denim blue. Will be linking up in a moment… ~M.

  16. I know, right? He still wasn’t willing to get rid of a lot of things, so I had to put my organization skills to work. Thanks for taking the tour! ~M.

  17. Thank you! You know what? He told me that he didn’t think his apartment was that bad until I said something. Can you believe that? Haha! ~M.

  18. Thank you, thank you! I really do enjoy organizing, maybe a bit too much. I sometimes feel I was brought into Mr. M’s life just so I could clean up his old apartment. Haha!

  19. My husband’s looked the same before we got married. And now he comments if he’s seen a dust bunny I’ve missed. I. Don’t. Get. It.

  34. I agree with first commentor. What a difference physical decluttering makes. Decluttering the mind is also a good idea. Makes room for new ideas. Thanks for liking my garage sale post. Can’t wait to post what I found over the week-end.

  35. I agree! Thank you! Excited to see your thrifty finds. ~M.

  36. I thought I lived in some small places… They had nothing on this place though!
